Our Policies

Contract:
Artisan Productions always requires a contract before engagement of our services to protect both the rights of your business and ours.


Initial Payment:
Fees to Artisan Productions and Design are due and payable on the following schedule: 50% upon starting the project, 50% upon project completion according to the client's original written specifications. If the total amount is less than $500, it shall be paid upon starting the project.


Content:
Artisan Productions also requires all content for the project before we can begin the design of the project. Content includes all text, photos, contact information, etc. The content must be sent in .doc or .txt format except in certain circumstances where we may require a different file type, in which case we will notify you ahead of time. All content must be provided within 10 business days or a specific amount of time agreed upon after the retainer in order to avoid delays in the project. This will make sure that the project gets completed on time.

If the client does not supply Artisan Productions complete text and graphics content all webpages contracted for within six weeks of the date of signing the contract, the project will be put on hold. Artisan Productions will resume working on the project only after receiving all the rest of the content and a final payment.


Changes to Submitted Text:

Please send us your final text. Time required to make substantive changes to client-submitted text after the webpages have been constructed will be additional, billed at the hourly rate.

Point of Contact:
Artisan Productions require to provide one point of contact from your organization authorized to make design decisions and all approvals.


Revision Rounds:
Artisan Productions offers several revision rounds and different design concepts during the process. Each revision round gives is an opportunity for client to make certain changes and corrections to their project. Please refer to the contract for detailed specifications as the amount of revision rounds varies depending on purchased package.


Business Hours:
Artisan Productions operates five days a week Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm PST, not including national holidays. All requests for projects to be performed on weekends, and on holidays are considered overtime. Saturday and Sunday overtime is billed at 150% of our standard rate, holiday overtime is billed at 200%.


Final Payment:
Upon final approval of the design and the remaining payment is received, the files are released to the client. Transfer of requested rights and uploading website to client's web server will occur only after making a final payment. We cannot make any exceptions on this policy. Artisan Productions and Design reserves the right to remove webpages from viewing on the Internet until the final payment is made.


Rush Projects:
Artisan Productions accepts rush projects only at an increase of 50%-100% of our standard rate, determined by the schedule and complexity of the job.
